About
My name is Chantal Baltissen and I am the creative mind behind The Enchanted Alice. I am an enthusiastic cosplay artist, versatile children's character entertainer, professional land and underwater mermaid, face painter, balloon twister, graphic designer, photographer, creative art drawing model and a self-taught mixed media artist. I make and wear my character costumes for entertaining at private and corporate events Australia wide.
I have 17+ years experience working as an Early Childhood Educator and I enjoy delivering care, education and entertainment to children and inspiring young future generations to live courageously, follow their dreams, be kind and take care of the planet.
My life partner and talented photographer Tobias Mendel and I travel the world together seeking exotic locations and enchanting castles to photograph my cosplay in the ultimate fantasy photography. No AI! We are currently creating a 12 month cosplay calendar that will be available to purchase with monies raised to go to Muscular Dystrophy Australia to support children living with neuromuscular disease and to give hope to Logan my brave nephew who has muscular dystrophy.

Chantal Baltissen is an independent contractor for hire as a real life mermaid performer and entertainer with extensive training freediving underwater in pool and ocean in her premium mermaid tails. She is also a qualified scuba diver who has dived in the ocean off the coast of California, Sydney, NSW and South Australia. She is available to hire for pool and land performances, private and corporate events.
